The Squad tab is every player you own. It is both a list and a scouting tool: a quick summary for comparing players at a glance, and a full attribute breakdown when you want to know exactly what someone is good at.

At a glance

The quick summary

Each player shows a Rating, their goals, and three summary bars that compress dozens of attributes into the three things that decide most matches:

The three bars

  • PACOptional
Pace — acceleration and sprint speed.
  • SHOOptional
Shooting — the finishing and power group.
  • DEFOptional
Defending — tackling, marking and awareness.
Detail

The full attribute breakdown

Open a player and their attributes are grouped into nine categories. This is the real picture — the three summary bars are only a shorthand.

The nine attribute groups

  • PaceOptional
    Acceleration and sprint speed.
  • PhysicalOptional
Strength, stamina, jumping, balance, agility and aggression.
  • ShootingOptional
Finishing, shot power, long shots, volleys, penalties and shot accuracy.
  • Set PiecesOptional
    Free-kick accuracy, curve and corners.
  • PassingOptional
Short and long passing, vision, crossing and through balls.
  • DribblingOptional
Dribbling, ball control, flair, reactions and composure.
  • DefendingOptional
Marking, standing and sliding tackles, interceptions, defensive awareness and heading.
  • GoalkeepingOptional
Diving, handling, kicking, positioning and reflexes. Only meaningful for keepers.
  • MentalOptional
Positioning, decisions, teamwork, leadership, work rate, determination, consistency and anticipation.

Do not buy on rating alone

Rating is one number summarising a player who has around fifty attributes. Two players with the same rating can be completely different footballers. Before you spend, open the breakdown and check the groups that matter for the role you are filling — Mental in particular is routinely ignored and routinely decisive.

Appearance

Player appearance

Players have a visual appearance you can adjust and save. It has no effect on ability — it is there so your squad looks like your squad when matches are rendered.

FAQ

Common questions

Why does a player show poor goalkeeping stats?+
Goalkeeping attributes only matter for goalkeepers. An outfield player having low values there is completely normal and not a defect.
My squad size changed without a transfer.+
Loans move players in and out of your squad without a permanent transfer. Check the Loans tab and your loaned-out players.
Do attributes change over time?+
Yes — players develop, which is why squad value moves even when you have not bought or sold anybody.
Does changing appearance affect performance?+
No. Appearance is purely cosmetic.
